Knitting. I only ever make things I want to make for people I love (and usually only for myself).

I had one run over my bare leg last year and thought that would be my worst experience. Obviously, this morning topped it.

We have the house sprayed outside and I think that’s decreased them. I think the other major decrease is Willow. We’ve seen a lot less since we got her (but have found the corpses).

I bet she actually gave it to you and it just didn’t wake you up. She was sitting on you when I jumped up.

Just want to add to this that the owner knowing me and immediately waving me over, really made me feel a part of the community.

Oooh that’s Aleppo! It’s another traditional version of Castile, going back hundreds of years, maybe more. The laurel is what made it smell so good. I’m going to look up that company. I miss a good soap.

If it’s 100% olive oil (Castile) besides the lye and liquid added, it should get very soft in the shower and have almost no lather. More like conditioning your skin than washing it. Almost any old school/handmade bar soap is good for your skin though.

Castile soap? How did you like it? It’s not to everyone’s taste (I used to make soap).

You had me at KING SORROW. So jealous.

Not related to AI, but I’ve gotten my mom to generate the phrase, ā€œDo you have any more of that T. Kingfisher?ā€ Every time she comes over, just by lending her your books.

Come write my books for me, please. (Just kidding, that would take all the fun out of procrastinating, actually writing, then worrying that I should be doing other stuff).

Question: 90s Little Women movie or 2020 Little Women movie????

That’s a cool little guy. I’m fond of hummingbird hawk-moths.

We actually plan to start reading to our kids again (youngest about to enter middle school) because, frankly, the lack of reading comprehension we’ve seen lately has scared us, and we want to raise lifelong, competent readers.

I think my BFF still has my copy of the manual…now I’m going to have to ask. I can tell you I did not want to be one of the Blue Bloods. Even as a vampire, I’d eat the other rich vampires….

Hey, I played that to! If you consider playing it that we just flipped through the rule book and discussed which clan we would want to be in….
