My wedding vows included "I want to get to know you better. I want to be old and decrepit, beside you in bed in the morning, and think 'I want to get to know her better'."

If you're ever in San Francisco on Easter, this is the tip of the iceberg.

Sorry, I probably should have let my previous idea be in three skeets instead of one. Technology, communication, they are hard (if you care about the truth, less so if you can kill someone on 5th street and still have supporters)

You are 100% correct! Lots of VERY rich white men (and others) have failed at what he seems to do naturally. I was just thinking maybe it (his crowd pleasing) is not an antisocial pattern. Mostly because I want people who like other humans to use it. I think that may be our only hope.

It may not be true, but he's a couch fucker.

I'm picking up what you're putting down, but diverge a little here. He's a (fucking assling shihole) good leader/spokesperson - gets a crowd ginned up and finds out what they want to hear. He then uses that power for evil. Maybe the only way to beat him is to use that power (AOC/Bernie) for good

I think you have some very good points in previous posts, but his "success" with women seems fairly easily explained by money, power, and non-consent.

I mean, i guess after your parents starve because they have no SS, and you're about to die because you have no medicaid, at least you can be happy the trans person has to use the other bathroom.

Ok, now that I'm imagining all that, can someone tell me how firing a bunch of federal workers and cancelling all the gov benefits of everyone in the story will help?

"Anti Elon Tesla Club" is the more common one in my neighborhood. Also, about 5, or maybe 10% of what appear to be local teslas.

Really? Sounds like they were helping you build stability. I'd say they deserve treats and belly rubs for their excellent training.

I'd also say it's because we do one thing at a time, slowly. They do 100 things at a time, 50 of the fail, 30 of them have no effect, 15 of them make them rich while breaking the law, and 5 of them undermine democracy. A month later, they've done thousands of things, and we're still trying to do 1

I can't not believe he was just acting like he would in real life if somehow in charge of a starship.

You do a pretty good job of being the weird I want to see in the world. I very much appreciate that.

Congrats Jon!

You do have some cheerful and perhaps plotting four legged friends, who I assume keep your spirits up.

TBH, my personal life is pretty great. It's just all that pesky downfall of America stuff.

OK is a fair way to describe it. Finding silver linings, or screaming into the abyss also describe it. I guess OK is kinda the average of those two.

I read this first as "Smut takes every week" and that's not 100% inaccurate.
