Isn’t this cause for expulsion? Or at least censure for God sakes?!

I remember seeing Rachael Price and a jazz combo as the night’s entertainment ten years ago at New York’s Sleep No More. She was amazing then singing classic ‘40s jazz standards before she hit it big with Lake Street Dive. Seeing her perform with Trey is even sweeter. She’s come a long way.

I’d rather rain on his parade thank you much.

Why then is it never presented in the Times or the Post as such? They continuously use euphemisms like “questionable” or ignore the issue altogether. No wonder @nytpitchbot.bsky.social is so on the nose.

Was reading @rbreich.bsky.social post and had a thought on my June 16 strike proposal: Do we focus on Red State protests to attract disaffected Trump voters? And nix politicized “Strike” and call it “Protect our Democracy: Fire Trump” instead? Thoughts? robertreich.substack.com/p/what-would...

This is good news for stopping the rise of an American Gestapo. We can’t have so called private security unilaterally deciding to violate a person’s constitutional right to free speech.

Though not without serious danger for those who stand up to this wannabe dictator.

More than likely Trump will overreact to peaceful demonstrations and he will lose in the court of public opinion. And it will be the beginning of the end.

We’ll see in the next two months how Trump supporters feel when it hits their pocket book and jobs. Already many have lost their jobs and business from the tariffs. And June 16 is two days after Trump’s birthday parade. I have suggested an Occupy-style protest and strike over that entire weekend.

I get the urgency but if you want to make the biggest impact you need to plan and get organized. Focus our energy. Otherwise look what happened with the Hands Off protests. Went nowhere.

Doubt it. We need time to organize. And that day is a historical day…

Better yet, let’s hit the streets for the largest general strike in history on June 16th!

How’s this?

How about this?

No because you need time to organize and June 16 is a vocal point for historical reasons. If you don’t organize, you get poorly covered “hands off” protest like the ones that happened the other week. That’s forgotten the next day.
