A sixties hippie who’s been drawing cartoons ever since. A couple were reprinted in history books: Once I was credited and once the authors thought I was a Black Panther!

I recognize the music... isn't that Neil Young's score for Johnny Depp's Dead Man? *Sarcasm*

I dodged Vietnam too, and I’m glad! None of the college kids I knew (Reed) wanted to go kill Vietnamese farmers and patriots to support the US’s corrupt puppet government. Some went to jail for their beliefs. Donny, of course, had more resources than most of us, like a doc indebted to his daddy.

Pretty soon, here in Northern California…

Set up a critter cam with night vision at ground level. We’re in an urban neighborhood next to Berkeley and we’ve seen possum, rats, and a skunk as nocturnal visitors. Luckily we haven’t had any trouble between our dogs and the skunk.

California has to get rid of “free” right turns on red lights. Factors I’ve heard discussed include more speeding during the pandemic which never slowed down, bigger vehicles that run over the ped/biker where a sedan might have thrown them on the hood, and MAGA self-centered ‘tudes.

We (albanyTT.org) run a few weekly free programs: showers, laundromat, and food distribution. Pro tip: Are you seeing a dermatologist every year? Bring shopping bags and offer to take as many body lotions, washes, even fragrance free laundry soap, as they will give you. They have a closet full!

About the same time American Protestants split over slavery. The “Bible Belt” as a stew of reactionaries has been with us a long time.

Did you ever hear of Youth Fare? Along with LSD it helped kick off the sixties! Half-off for anybody under 22 and you flew standby. You did get fed a meal and could buy drinks.

I drew this right after the abomination was elected the first time. Sounds like a NY Time Pitchbot, right? BTW, I live next to Berkeley and spend a lot of time with homeless people through our org, albanyTT.org.

When I was a 1950’s kid in Monmouth County we would play in the swamp and try to get snapping turtles to bite sticks. Are they still common?

While we’re on the subject of religious humor: An Episcopalian went to Hell. They used the salad fork on the entree.

Pretty obvious that Trump and his cronies think that acts of domestic terrorism plays to their advantage politically, especially when committed by immigrants. Why try to stop it?

I don’t get it. Kingsley Wilson, like many MAGA women (not the Mar-A-Lago surgery and makeup extremists) actually looks like a human being. I understand that the lizard-to-human transformation is difficult, even for experts. Poor Kash Patel!

Bill signed legislation making it illegal for the feds to own public housing. He also signed terrible welfare "reforms:" PRWORA. Look it up.

I did great under Clinton, too. I got recruited out of the SF State Art dept to high paying dotcom jobs! The boom gave him cover for retrograde policies. It took 20 years for the party to return to its pro-labor roots under Biden.

It’s all theatrics to salvage Trump and Musk reputations.

Bill is one of the biggest villains in our history, perhaps bigger than Trump. The Democratic Leadership Conference was his creation to successfully remake the Democratic Party as anti-labor and pro-business - Essentially giving us another GOP.

Once again I’d like to point out that saying that people who go to food pantries have to “beg” is extremely disrespectful to the people who work hard, most as unpaid volunteers, to make sure there is food available in a facilities that are clean, organized, and respectful to their clients.

I liked the idea of virtually petting the puppies. Also, we need teleportation of small items through DM.

The dems share responsibility for Musk. As far back as Steve Jobs, Democrats were all in on concentrating wealth in rich techies, seeing it as essential to US leadership. Our reverse-progressive taxes, with lowest overall rates for the rich, has been a bipartisan project since the 1970s.

2. So I went back to college and caught up on my credits and just kept my head down re the draft. The board didn’t contact me for 3 years when I could have been drafted. Finally they had a draft lottery and I lucked out with a high number. Some friends were not as lucky. Some went to jail…

Thousands of children will die of childhood diseases that could have had normal lifespans… But, Hey! We need to make the oligarchs richer. Otherwise, the GOP would die.
