This is not a long distance on a train - Peterborough to King's Cross is 80 miles and only takes 45 minutes. I know people at work who regularly come from much further. But this demonstrates how much harder it is to commute by car, can't get any work done or have a rest. The answer is more trains...

The oldest song Genesis played in those concerts was a small snippet of Musical Box ("brush back your hair, let me get to know your flesh") from 1971. That would be the equivalent of Radiohead on their 2017 Moon Shaped Pool tour, playing songs from the Bends or OK Computer...

Wild that Natalie Appleton of All Saints would take the Roy Orbison role in 2025. I remember in 1992 when Genesis played Earl's Court, Phil Collins talked about "songs from a distant era - the '70s". I remember we all thought (at school) Genesis were some ancient band... 1/2

Assuming your wife saw them in 1995, when she was (say) 17, then that's 30 years ago, a fifth of 30 is 6 years, 6 years younger than 17 is 11 years old. But it entirely depends how old your wife was in 1995...
