Nice touch on putting "nuked" in quotes. Very Trumpy.

I'd be happy to give a talk at UCSD to describe some of my work.

I managed to get in the front door by leveraging my experience with calculating homology of graph complexes. That let me develop an algorithm for enumerating diamond faceting arrangements relatively easily.

I finally got outside the outer wall and there was a beautiful commanding view from a very high place out onto the countryside. I sat down in a chair and started meditating.2/3

Guilty. I blame learning to drive in NJ. Last time I visited, I couldn't even cross a street as a pedestrian at a signaled cross walk because turning traffic refused to yield.

Currently reading Rebecca Yarros's Fourth Wing series. I hadn't realized they had a romance novel aspect before starting. They are good books with an interesting well-paced plot. I just have to wince through the graphic sex scenes.

Last Jedi was the only one of the three Star Wars sequels that I found tolerable. I'll check some of these others out. Thanks.

I liked Andor a lot, but I felt the writing in season 2 had some major issues, I am guessing because they had to get from point A to point B with a limited number of screen minutes. E.g. Bix going from drug-addled and depressed to "I killed my torturer & am better now" with no visible journey.
