Agree about programming, but my ex brother-in-law in New York is a Civil Engineer and based on some of his experience the same type of arrogance is alive and well in that profession as well!

But with birds there comes a time when the parents leave the young. I noticed with the Swallows that nested on our porch. The parents went to the tree and made the young follow to get fed! Shortly thereafter, on their own!

The weeds that appear to be strawberries with yellow flowers are a close cousin of the strawberry. Coming from the same family, Rosacae, it is of a different Genus: Potentilla.
Invasive from Asia.

We have clouds this evening from about Mercury and below. So Mercury was in and out of clouds. Saturn was too far down into the clouds this evening.
I did photograph Saturn last evening but didn't know it until I "pushed" the exposure a bit.

Your arrow is pointing at Saturn. Mercury is above and slightly to the right of the moon. Nice shot!

Nikon D7000 Lens: VR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G at 105mm
Aperture: f/5.6 speed 1/5s ISO 640
Went looking a bit deeper in that photo and found that I did get a very faint Saturn down near the tree line.
