Happily married to a woman who is smarter than me. Appreciate debates with folks who know what they are talking about. Tend to overthink stuff. I’ll admit when I’m wrong. Refugee from Muskworld.

John Locke’s Second Treatise of Government. Never knew why people bothered with philosophy until I read it.

It’s life, not a thing.

He only ran for the Senate because he couldn’t get a cushy job in a think tank. Now, when this gig ends, he’s going to have a hard time getting a job.

Falun Gong, just like Shen Yun. Dedicated anti-communist, but not pro democratic.

Try “I can’t afford much more than soup, but I need a new grill.”

It is Floriduh, after all.

We know. We lived there in a very nice section for 8 years. But it was still Floriduh, so we moved north. About 1800 miles north.

She was on Maddow last night, and she is righteous

The SS & Gestapo were official, not paramilitary.

Some of those pardoned are already back in jail for other charges. And a few were arrested on state charges (can’t be pardoned by the prez)

They’re basically tropical in nature, but they learned that the communal nests kept them protected from the elements and predators. Not that Brooklyn has a lot of predators to worry about. Btw, I was told that they were escapees from owners who let them out with their windows open.

Complicated. The kingdoms of Judea & Israel were subsumed by the Roman Empire into a territory that they named “Palestina,” a larger territory, in order to erase knowledge of the Jewish kingdoms and history.

Every time I see her, I get reminded of Madeline Kahn singing “So Tired” in “Blazing Saddles”

Are you near Green-Wood Cemetery? They’re well established there.

Clearly, Rep. Harris was home schooled (by morons). My mother was a smart woman, but I wouldn’t have wanted her trying to teach me algebra. My older brother would teach me the math 3 grades above me so he could learn it himself, like the Professor in “Candide.” They thought I was a genius.

If we’re very lucky, you’re right.

It can’t. It’s Trump’s “performance art.”

It’s sure more welcoming than Floriduh.

That’s truly stupid. Puerto Rico is a lovely refuge from the winter storms.

But it should change to USC to welcome the refugee states shown. My state is one of them.

Poor baby! And her servants, as well. It is often difficult to serve the Empress.

What part of Brooklyn? I grew up in Midwood.

My FIL used to say that a lot. Now that I’m approaching 80, I say that, and Bette Davis’s “Growing old is not for sissies” too. Does anyone happen to know who said “the indignities of age?”

Like his “beautiful new health plan” to replace the ACA “coming in two weeks”? Now it’s just a “concept of a plan.”

I’ve seen Jordan, Vietnam and other middle eastern and Asian countries on clothing for years. Tech gear is a different story. A lot is directly from China. Biden’s work to return the manufacturing of microelectronics to the US is a reaction to the security concerns of Chinese dominance.

I’m his age, and my new goal is to see him out of the White House. Whether by end of term, or in a box.

Just remember to breathe. Then find something useful to do. You’ll be fine.

When I met my wife (of 40+ years) she told me she had a past. I told her I did, also, and we can discuss them later if we had to. I’m sure it will show up sooner or later.

It was worse than mere garbage. Every cartridge on site had come from a company that only produced prop bullets. They came in 2 versions: a cartridge with a bullet and no primer or gunpowder; a cartridge with a small amount of powder and no bullet. How did a live bullet get on site?

A perfect example of what President Biden warned us about. Misinformation and lies.

Oddly, most of us would never have seen that cartoon if the Post hadn’t rejected it. Fortunately, lots of people saw it when she resigned from the Post.

Sadly, true. An important lesson: money chases money. Money has no morals, but it gives a veneer of virtue to the holders.

I’ll put Soros’ record over Vivek & Musk’s records any day. Name one positive thing that Musk made things better for the average person. I’ll wait.

Naughty, naughty. Remind yourself that that individual has had the benefit of home schooling and had a moron for a teacher.
comment in response to post
Soros has supported charities and helpful organizations for decades. All Vivek and Musk do is support things that make them more money. And Trump is little more than a conman who’s a convicted criminal.
comment in response to post
Elon Musk inherited an emerald mine from his parents. His success is due to his ability to buy businesses like Tesla and SpaceX and his utter lack of empathy. Vivek displayed his ignorance of government during the debates. Trump is transactional, utterly lacking in empathy. RFK Jr. is just insane.

I have the good fortune to have him as my senator.
