With half a squad. Looking forward to next season.

I really want him to lose just for that

Absolute liability. But every squad needs one!

It's basically like celebrating winning the Championship. I mean, well done and all, but we weren't in that competition, so...

I can't believe this is a European final.

Yeah, I mean Haaland, the PL's best ever striker, couldn't possibly tuck it in from there because he's "going away from goal". Almost as if they decided they didn't want to send him off before they looked at the pictures.
comment in response to post
Bit lucky that I reckon. Going away from goal *because Henderson swipes it away from goal*. But obviously glad that's what they decided.

Feel genuinely sorry for him. Looks like he could cry.

Yep, I firmly believe that at full strength and fully-rested we're the best team in Europe. Just been a long time since we've seen that. Excited for next season!

Do you have the post-shot xG?

Grow up Donnarumma

It's time he went and played someone else. We should have scored four in this tie by now...

Maybe they'll beat us one day

Making sure Real don't want to sign him. 4D chess.

Just practising that dink earlier

From Once Upon a Time in the West. Great tune, weird context.

I'm not sure how it could be judged as 'not dangerous', that's the one thing it definitely was. It might have been accidental (a slip maybe?) but should that matter? I don't know any more.

Who wrote that article about MLS having strong arms?! Immediate briefing to refs to punish MLS at earliest opportunity for having strong arms.

WTAF has happened to everyone's hamstrings? Remember the days when people came back from hamstring injuries in 2-3 weeks? They were simpler times...

>£100 for upper tier is insanity

My theory is that Odegaard tries to put too much power into his shots these days. He needs to be a bit more (*retch*) Cole Palmer-y. Even that one he could have placed into more of the open goal.

Does it include or exclude the time the goalie spends lying on the ground on the ball after catching the ball standing up?

Time for Europe to step up

If you don't like the idea of that pathway playing out, I'd suggest placing a decent accumulator bet on all of it happening. Win, win.

We need to start remembering how bad Wout Faes is

What the f*** were they DOING in Dubai? You're supposed to be recovering lads!!!!!

😔

Yeah, that's fair, I mean Saliba's a mug who would actually get sent off for elbowing someone in the face
comment in response to post
His elbows obviously aren't as pointy as Patrick Vieira's

Summary? Should I be sad/not sad about the potentially title-run-in-transforming/2x-sub-appearances-of-negligible-impact youngster who I'd never heard of a week ago?
comment in response to post
Wow. If he'd saved it he'd have been sent off!!!
comment in response to post
Hahaha. Even those things don't make it a red. Ok, let's see a red for every "late and high" tackle now shall we?
comment in response to post
True. At the end they're basically all traitors. Also, what's the point in throwing the things in the fire if they then go round one by one explaining what they did? Takes all the drama away!
comment in response to post
Yep, I was screaming. Hip only. I can't understand it.

Looked like an own goal to me

World's best keeper

I rest my case

This keeper does not deserve not to have conceded though.

I see our luckometer hasn't swung round yet

Haha, and that's never a pen! But love that Sterling's remembered how to play football.

Man U have committed 17 fouls so far. Was bound to happen.

Seen the latest Howard Webb contortions? New rule for Arsenal, if the player kicks the ball onto your head, you haven't headed it 😆. So from now on, if you block a shot and the shooter runs into your outstretched leg, it will be a pen - well played PGMOL 👏

Just to reiterate, in case you missed it the first two times, just saying that Newcastle did well, took their chances, but relied on Arsenal missing their chances, so while they deserved the win, it wasn't Eddie Howe's GREATEST feat. Just a solid feat.
comment in response to post
Some fans may have said those things. I didn't. Reread my post if you like. Or just read what you want to read. Looking forward to the second leg. We'll see what happens.
comment in response to post
Arsenal created 2 high quality chances, hence high xG. Martinelli and Havertz. But both of them were not on target because Arsenal's finishing was bad on the night. So, yes, Newcastle deserved to win, because their finishing was better. But, no, it wasn't Howe's greatest feat. That's all I'm saying.
comment in response to post
No. They conceded 3.76xG against a tired Arsenal team and got away with it.
comment in response to post
Well, except for Martinelli one on one and a Havertz open goal header. I think we're a couple of ricochets (and a striker) in either box away from a banging result.
