Well, in one respect...the old duffer crawling along the motorway at 45mph can cause considerably more danger than drivers capable of normal motorway speeds.

Well done. Really hoping for online reporting for you.

Well, she'd certainly give me "paws" whilst I worked out which!

Worth reporting that one!

So wet you could shoot duck off them, as my old boss used to say. If only they could see the value in prevention rather than sweeping up the mess after the collisions.

Thanks... sadly the camera didn't get the words well enough to be a worthwhile report. It was very fleeting. I noted the registration.

Didn't bring the bike this time, my legs are tired enough from the walking anyway!

Had one refuse to wait and give the same gesture... positive outcome to the police upload! I'd love to have been a fly on that wall 😁

If it'll cope with the vibration, sounds good

I am not an electrician, but you'll still need to connect it to your domestic circuits somehow? And make sure it doesn't feed out to the grid in a power cut.

Yes - all of the above - you don't have to fit batteries but they make sense. The system needs a circuit on your consumer board & a meter for electricity fed into the grid. It will need to be registered with the National Grid & limited to whatever they will allow for your infra.

Looks like it comes with the flat and curved helmet mounts. They stick on with 3M adhesive patches & are quite secure. You can get Drift stuff from their AliExpress site if you prefer.

Yes, it's a shared pavement actually. I use it most days but it's often obstructed, sadly.

Sounds lovely. Drift seem to be more popular with motorcyclists than with cyclists. Mine is on the side of my helmet. There are just three buttons on the top of the camera and the camera makes one sort of beep when I turn it on, and another sort when I turn it off. I can operate it with gloves on.

If I had to buy again I'd try for a DJI Osmo though.

Alternatively the Chilli Tech 4k cameras look ok?

I use a Drift Ghost XL on the helmet or the bars. Using older firmware for stability. Can be bought on CEX from time to time with a two year warranty. No stabilising, but produces good enough footage for reporting.
