Thanks, I don’t disagree, although a spin of weak or no response to destructive acts put another straw on the scale of weak. Which the search would show was empirically wrong, and that the government adeptly sliced the criminal from legitimate outrage and protest. Once upon a time.

I doubt those convicted cast themselves as Sons of Liberty. If you feel the call to throw a Molotov, you are making more significant contributions to the future than that. If you are positing that some other person should go life and death with another stranger for your cause, don't do that either.

Subscriber, so. Arguably, in part because of the violence that attached to the 2020 protests we got Trump. More directly, numbers of those who committed destructive acts wound up burning away most of the rest of their lives. A quick search on "BLM protest arson charges," is enlightening. 1/2

Absent mad sugar daddy sort, so it seems like subscription or advertising or some mix the only model. I shuffled thru my subscriptions and realized that breaking news and analysis down by byline was not cost effective for me. A BA where subscription here got access to more than another paywall?

Other than coin-operated replies? I enjoyed Post.news, but tipping seemed to befuddle a number of users. Threads was okay, like on Post, I chose verification. Think it helps the climate to be accountable as you. 1/2

Like fundamentalists with their scriptures, Trump believers pick out the words they want to hear and are deaf and blind to the rest

The Dems seem to be addicted to the thinner virtue signal slice. Cuts to Medicaid are awful, absolutely. Changes to Medicare hit the swing population and carry Medicaid along. Requiring screaming my issue first is a loser

Who was it who called it Lotto America, where only chance, the one lucky play, had replaced the American dream of opportunity?

We need a band. Just like those British kids. We’ll put them on TV. We’ll show ‘em.

With all respect to Mainers and regard for their governor, putting a 78 year old up to replace a 71 year old seems badly out of touch

Journalists fail as historians. Proposing they’d uncovered what 80% of us knew in 2023. Can hardly wait for 2029 for the reveal on Trump
