life -- particularly in a capitalist hellscape -- is not fair, and certainly not a competition -- but I frankly feel like I could name a bunch of people who've worked so much less hard than I have and faced far fewer obstacles and yet have the exact basics I've been dreaming of.

This isn't really the time to argue with people in the coalition or allied to it, even if they're trying to pick a fight. We're *all* stressed and afraid. Don't split.

like, I think a lot of stuff that's causing the attentional crisis is way bigger than this, and out of our control as teachers, but this small factor is, and even if it didn't help, I think there's still value in having a curriculum which doesn't embarrass me and is my best foot forward.
