I haven't read Team Of Rivals, but I'm wondering if it helps explain why in the world Lincoln chose Johnson.

We were visiting relatives when I was young & remember my mother's uncle giving my dad directions on country roads which included "turn left where the old church used to be"

What do you recommend for a fireproof lockbox? Hopefully it's a fill-and-forget kind. The first one I bought & no longer use came with instructions to open it once a week to keep the inside air fresh or something (it ruined two passports after a few months via growing red mold all over them)

Can we just appreciate this team for its solid results, without turning its players into minor celebrities?

Is this another case of Miller or someone making policy based on just saying it's their understanding of what the President wants?

I mean, "human-level" includes such classics as "guns don't kill people - people do" and "covid vaccine mumble mind control mumble 5G something", which I think is well within reach for some of these LLMs

Thank you for the halftime update. Will we have goal highlights as-they-happen this year? Or does Bluesky not support that yet?

This doesn't have to be related to flooding the zone. Lower-information voters were more likely to vote for him last year, so it seems reasonable that people who are tuned out from current events have higher opinions of him.

But where do you think Portland's best chance of success against top teams comes from? We laugh at them for packing the middle with too many CAMs, but we don't think they can win with wingers playing as wingers and a true CF at CF?
comment in response to

The team needs to start two out-and-out wingers, and not just play 5 converted CAMs all at once

Why don't they try this every week?
comment in response to

When this team plays like this, they win. When they have 6 attackers inside the width of the center circle, they lose.
Why can't they play like this every week?
