The thing about SCOTUS...they are simply opinion writers. Law interpreters, if you will. The Executive branch is responsible for enforcing things SCOTUS says. What happens when the Executive branch goes "yeah, fuck that, we're not doing that"? It's the end of the rule of law, and we're about there.
