And it REALLY matters when you’re writing historical fiction. I love Kristin Hannah, but in ‘The Women’, when Jamie talked about his niece and nephew, I rolled my eyes so hard I saw my brain. Kaylie and Braden? In 1968? No. Just no. Now I have no faith in the book’s historical accuracy.
