My company isn't abusive like that but has its own issues.
I hope you document, even though it doesn't sound like there's a higher-up-the-chain type who'll listen to you.
Remember - you are more than your job. And try not to quit until you have something else lined up, if you need the wages. 🤗

I was used to huddling pre-Slack, as we'd be summoned from our cubicles to the head of the aisle to be passed some info we needed. QB calling an audible!
Back, y'know, before remote meetings existed.
Now, you could tell them to "huddle up" in an NFL-kinda way maybe? 🏈 (Really, I got nothin'.) 😁

I like D, feels more cohesive.
But it helps to know what its environment is too, is it supposed to be camo, etc. 🤓

Your own fault innit, telling them about it. (I jest, that sounds very cool.)
My bard's premiere of her opera was the same night the party decided to investigate the big bad's shenanigans. Guess who stayed at the opera house? (I stayed at the table, still couldn't tell you what they did.) 🐉

My first post-college apartment had a turret. Alas, I was on the ground floor, so for me it was a round room, no surveying.
Some day...

The only season I mute music in Stardew.
Coral Island (another farming sim) has much better winter tunes!
I know it's spring in SV when I can listen to the soundtrack again.

Sometimes I try to trick my brain into thinking it's cooler, by playing a videogame like Skyrim or the start of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Sometimes it works.

I too am on story mode. I'm middle-aged and have no reflexes, I'm on the PS5; the patch helped a smidge but I'm still lucky to dodge, I don't even try to parry LOL.
Still - I'm on my 2nd PT (not NG+) and finding everything I accidentally skipped the first time. 🤩

People have trouble spelling Clair Obscur?
I've seen Claire Obscure and other iterations. Probably from non-French speakers.
COE33 is too short though. 😁
#ClairObscur
And yes it's so so good. Hard, but good.

AKA Six Flags Over Jesus!
(I'm sure there are many similar churches, but I recall driving on Blankenbaker as service let out and kicking myself for forgetting their schedule.) 😫

After following the author for a while here I finally got a few of his books. Of course OMW was *not* on the shelves, only the others in the series. But how did I go this long without experiencing Scalzi! 🤩

Middle-aged and on the PS5, I can dodge but rarely succeed a parry. I have no reflexes. I'm on the easiest setting.
BUT - practice and expanding your repertoire helps - if you're one-shotting an enemy, you don't need to dodge! Eventually, not every combat will feel like a boss fight.

Nice site preview break.

And there's just been a patch to make the game easier for the olds like me, so you don't have to have, like, reflexes in the battles. 😁
I hope you like!

Thank you! I better go download the patch because ow ow ow.
I'm old, I have no reflexes, it's been rough.

I just want a box that keeps things cold. And a slightly smaller connected box that keeps things colder. 🧊
Next up: A fridge that refuses to open because you've had 1500 calories today. A fridge that refuses to open because your calendar says you're picking up Sally from swim now.
Sigh.

No president has ever federalized the National Guard for purposes of responding to potential future civil unrest anywhere in the country. Preemptive deployment is literally the opposite of deployment as a last resort. It would be a shocking abuse of power and the law. 15/19

Happy Sunday! I decided I needed Hot & Sour Soup for breakfast and so made some. And it was worth it.
Have a lovely day!

I really enjoyed this thread! I'm also happy I had muted the game words until I had finished my first run LOL.
I avoided most of the Act III optional stuff on my first PT but am trying for completion now. Have to find this "Simon" sometime. 🤓

Sorry to hear that.
I had to unfollow a bunch because I was getting stressed, and I do not Bluesky to be stressed.
I appreciate your thoughts, but if here is bad, do not be here. Your priority is you! 🤗

You can do eet!! Stay strong, beat TOTK!
(Me, no, not me; I noped out a couple of years ago. I don't have the Zelda roots and "your weapon breaks mid-fight" just frustrated the dickens out of me. You can finish TOTK though! I have faith in you!)

Yes IMO.
I'm absolutely awful at timing for button mashing, but the combat is forgiving (on story difficulty), and the rest of the game is worth it.

After too much RDR2, in my head the animal is a "ZEHB-rah" though I still say "ZEE-brah" out loud.

Can I ask what's going on with the neck, since it's imaginary? Because wtf is going on with that neck?!

I had an awesome focaccia recipe that came with my bread maker. The machine is long gone and I don't know where the recipe went. I did not have it memorized.
I've tried other recipes, they're just not quite right.
Sorry! I could use a good focaccia myself.

For me (US) it was a blood test ordered by my doc after I asked my doc for it. You might check with your physician, pharmacy, or local health department. Good luck!

I was vaccinated as a child (50+ years ago). I was checked last month and was no longer immune.
I got the MMR jab 2 days later.
It's the kind of disease I'd rather not FAFO!
(YMMV, I am not a medical professional, etc.)
Vax & mask is my rule of thumb anymore. 😷

I try to stay in practice for the next solar flare / cell dead zone (etc) and maintain at least a vague idea where I am without GPS.
Until I drove, I always thought "north" was the direction I faced, I'm still making up for that. 😁

Yes and no.
Yes if you like new fits. Plus there's probably some trophy or achievement linked to them.
No if you just want to move on. Totally optional!

On the other hand - you made it through the entire game once without a whole lot of buffs! Well done!

When I got my TV 5+ years back I told sales "I want a dumb TV. I want a brick. I don't want Roku/Fire/Alexa/voice-activation or anything like that." I succeeded in my mission!
I had to unplug the Switch to take the new Steamdeck but I can only play so many platforms at once and swapping is easy. 😀
