We also need reporters--and headline editors--who really understand how Congress is supposed to work. Granted there's a degree to which the Senate can make shit up as it goes along, but it's actually not that hard to explain to readers what's going on.

It is not theoretical at all. Despite being vaxxed and boosted, I got a mild case in Aug '23 and have yet to recover. I'm not totally debilitated, but can only count on operating at 50% or so any given day, some days more, some much less.

Democrats CAN win because they have better ideas than Republicans. Dem ideas benefit more people, offer more opportunity, and provide real security rather than tough-guy posturing. But Democrats can only win if they are out there every day on the attack. They can not apologize their way to victory.

Who could have imagined this?🙄
