The odds that you would exist are 1 in 10^2,685,000. You are a statistical defiance of impossibility. Make of it what you will.

There is currently so much misinformation circulating here on Bluesky; misattributed quotes, unproven conspiracies, and untried allegations accepted as facts. If you want a revolution, be absolutely sure you know what you’re fighting for. Anything less than the truth makes both sides equally wrong.

Rand Paul explains the perils of presidential overreach and taxation without representation, inadvertently illustrating why Trump’s abuses of power are not a partisan issue but an existential threat to every democracy-loving American. youtu.be/aOK2NW7Va6E?...

After an extended visit to the Scottish Highlands, a beautiful country marked by eons of tyranny, environmental destruction and extinctions, I'm returning with a renewed perspective of what's at stake at home. There's still a chance to learn from history and do better.

Ability to make money doesn’t equate to strength, wisdom, or morality. Some of the richest gain wealth by exploiting the earth and others. Lack of money is not indicative of uselessness. Some of the greatest contributions come from the poorest. Imagine a world without Van Gogh, Rodin, or Curie.

I’m seeing an awful lot of non-fact-checked posts circulating here on Bluesky lately. There’s already enough outrageous material to work with these days. Let’s be more careful about promoting lies, theories, parody, and propaganda as facts.

The GOP has gone from normalizing malignant narcissism to maligning autism so fast.

The White House condemning April 19th protests as ‘unlawful gatherings’ is clear evidence of their willful disregard for First Amendment rights...and it exposes their fear of the power of the people. Keep it up, everyone! #peoplesmovement #50501 #dayofaction #handsoff #endtyranny

I’m beginning to think the reason the legislative branch and security forces are abandoning their oaths to the Constitution is that they either don’t understand it, don’t care, or both.

The growing outrage over the taking of Kilmar Abrego Garcia without due process shows that more Americans are awakening to the gravity of the situation before us all. Hopefully, enough will rise up in protest, and will have the courage to keep standing for justice and democracy.

Trump is the President the nation's founders warned us about.

I'm spending time with my 12-year-old granddaughter in Scotland and am surprised to learn that she and her friends are paying more attention to what is going on in America than many Americans.

Protest this Saturday, April 19th. Appropriately, it's the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, which started the first American Revolution. Fiftyfifty.one

Of course we'll keep at it. The only other choice is unacceptable. alaskapublic.org/news/politic...

The Republican President will probably try to make something of this but leave out two important points: this is a sign the voting system works against fraud, and the perpetrators were his supporters. alaskapublic.org/news/politic...
