You know where it is thriving, in immigrant communities. New soccer specific stadiums are being built in diverse communities w/ a strong immigrant presence. So when ICE decides to target areas where immigrants are bound to congregate, they have to expect that people are not going to go to the games.

Soccer is already something of a hard sell in the U.S., but it was making inroads and gaining ground.

How they're finishing in the points is beyond me and are second in the Constructor's is beyond me

Exactly. Oscar came back hard, but fair after Lando caught him out on the chicane. But Lando got desperate after Oscar got him at the chicane.

That entire sequence just showed why Oscar is on another level over Lando. He fought back hard but clean after Lando caught him out at the hairpin, and Lando got desperate after Oscar passed him into the chicane.

It's moments like that where you see that Oscar is just on a such higher level than Lando.

Wow....Lando.

That's my point. If they took this parade seriously, they would have marched in step, in time. The chain of command would have ordered it. The fact that they were so casual about, tells me they didn't take it seriously.

Yeah... that's a tough one, especially with something as small as that.
A lot of the older kits aren't as well engineered as current ones. A lot of the master Gunpla and Plamo builders I follow will go to great lengths to reengineer older kits.

Best technique that I do myself is to run a small bead along one mating surface, and then press the two pieces together as tightly as you can until you see a bead of the cement leaking out of the seam line. Let the cement fully cure, the. sand and it will look like the seam line was never there.
comment in response to

The issue with a lot of modeling putties is that they can shrink over time. So as time goes by, you'll notice the seam line re-appear.
Cement essentially welds the pieces together so you have one continuous piece of plastic.

I have a feeling that an order will come down from Whiskey Pete and we'll be seeing a lot of busy parade grounds on bases for the next few months.

D&C is the first thing they teach recruits in basic training, and beaten into them every day.
It's one of the most fundamental aspects of military discipline and order. So yeah....they weren't taking it seriously.

I have a feeling that every parade ground on every base in the country is going to be extremely busy with D&C practice for the next few months.
comment in response to
post
Yeah...they didn't take this seriously. D&C is HUGE in the military and beaten into every recruit from day one and everyday after. Military ceremonies require formal, precise drill ceremonies.
The fact that they could even be bothered to march in time tells me they saw this as a simple PR mission.

The fact they were free stepping in formation and not actually marching is a sign that the military didn't really take this seriously.

They're not even marching..... they're just free stepping in formation!!!

I know F1 teams will deny it to the high heavens, but I honestly believe that cars are built to one driver's preferences over the other. The car is built to suit Max's driving style, and everyone else suffers.

Watch how quickly the police union builds the blue wall if it turns out that it was actually a police officer who committed the murder.

Also...I thought jacknobs like Tillis get hard-ons about federalism and states' rights. Well, bitch, that's what federalism gives you. A patchwork of rules and regulations.

Hmmmm...I would wager that a majority of the states where recreational marijuana is legal are blue states, and a major source of tax revenue for those states. So I expect a new federal crackdown in states where cannabis is legal.
