Like, Boston are obviously a very good defensive outfit. But they weren’t contested threes. They’re just misses. It’s unforgivable.

Watching KCP clang every fkn three hurt my soul. So so so bad.

Incredible premonition. I remember first reading this and going “hah! 17th!!” And now it’s like “…..huh, 17th is it?” Anyway. Please continue to only use your powers for good, not evil.

I’m not sure the blueprint to beat manly has changed in 5 years - beat them up through the middle and it’s a pretty straightforward win!

….will definitely make life a looooot harder.

Not if they win this year Campo!

It shouldn’t be hard finding players who are keen to play with those two, right? I’m not a big “time to tank” guy, but not sure there’s a lot that is achievable in this season. Just a bit depressing to have another year where I’m checking Tankathon with this long to go.

Haha yeah I don’t imagine there’s a lot of sympathy out there. Just find it bizarre how universally accepted it is that they will be shit despite having a top 8 roster, top of the league facilities/limitless money pot for the best coaching staff etc. Very keen to see the Tigers though! Fun team.

I hate it. But this feels like a seminal moment for NRL Bluesky.

Feels like big change is inevitable for the team to move forward. Which is fine! But team brass has to be on board with breaking up a team that has some VERY good pieces and some VERY big flaws. I’m not sure they’re ready to do that…

Rashard Lewis might be our best shot and he’s a decade retired.

That’s a great point - injuries, outside of Paolo/Franz, have been a constant and that adds load to everyone. Impossible to get any continuity. Not to mention Mo. let’s pray for some health post-All Stars.

Oh, no. Definitely not suggesting we start tanking. Just wondering whether the past six weeks feel like where the team is at, or whether they can rediscover December form etc. or if it’s just gone and they’re gonna scrap for a play-in spot and that’s what becomes of this season.

What’s your gut feel: is this season salvageable? It seems like the things that are broken are foundational, but I can’t shake that they were VERY good, especially defensively, through December. maybe I’m just talking myself into something that isn’t working though.

👀👀 I live in hope. Thanks mate.

Not to appear desperate, and I know Magic like to move in silence these days, but… any hints of movement? Or just letting it ride for another year?

Haha mate, long-suffering Spurs fan here! No complaints today though. Two days before any chance of disappointment too….

My first BlueSky mis-mention! I think you’re after @joebarton.bsky.social - but it’s nice to be mistaken for someone other than the lunatic former footballer for once. Go Spurs!

Luck will turn. Players will return. And, hopefully, signings that align with a defined recruitment strategy. I’m wrong a lot, but I am convinced the highs of the past two years are more of a real trend on where the club is headed than injury-plagued lows. Just hope Ange is around to see it.

First Q was diabolical - and it’s been a struggling reintegrating Franz/Paolo, but looks like something clicked? Need a good run to slide back up the ladder in the east.

You’re doing the lord’s work. As Beck says, as long as people aren’t ALSO posting on Twitter, that’s when the movement will happen.

Haha sound like a real pleasure.

Thanks mate - I’ll keep my distance and stay happily ignorant.

I’ve seen a bunch of purple and gold chat on here and I suspect it’s a hangover from Twitter but I don’t exactly understand what it’s referencing. Are they anti-Levy? Ange? Spurs in general?! (A sincere question)

The ball movement is obviously encouraging, creating lots of uncontested corner 3s… but missing them at this rate? It’s bonkers.
