Was on Twitter and moved here. Proud of being blocked by slobbering Dan Bongino twice. Proud liberal St. Louisan who likes anything about literature, art and music. MAGA is a cult. Opinions are of my own and not of anything associated with my professions.

I can’t wait to see this movie. As a fellow St. Louisan, James is saving the DC movies.
Now, please get started on Wonder Woman.

I disagree. Betsy DeVos was the most unqualified person in a government office. Even Hegseth had some sort of military experience. Betsy DeVos bought her position and even admitted to doing so.

I don’t get it. Why didn’t these people do an attendance check to make sure that unauthorized people are attending the group chat? These people are stooopid.

I’m old enough that I was prescribed progressive no line trifocals.

It’s insanely good. I’m reading along with the graphic audio and that makes the experience even better.

I used to work at AppleCare. They used to be able to do this years ago. They won’t do it anymore. Management locked it down due to abuse.

I might read that book next. Not sure. I have a massive TBR list though.

I totally agree. Very heavy hitting. Beautifully well written and executed.

I totally agree that this should never be normalized.
We are regressing as a country and the effort is somewhat bipartisan.

That Republican is wasting their time.
Nothing like that will pass the House or Senate without a 2/3rds majority vote and 22 states wouldn’t approve of it.
There isn’t enough votes.

It’s not because they didn’t care, but they cared more about the Israel/Palestine “genocide” and fell for Russia propaganda and foreign influence.

You saw the beginning of the attempt of our leaders forming an autocratic white nationalist state.

Stephen, he also can’t invade Greenland or Canada without the permission from Congress. And he only has a one seat majority in the House.
His wacky proposals are heading to a lot of “no’s”.

Brian, these people can’t construct basic pie and bar charts. Don’t expect them to get dates correct.

I learned something today:
1. Charlie from the book was originally written as a small black boy but the publishers convinced Dahl to rewrite the character to be white.
2. The Oompa Loompas were also described as little black people but they were also whitewashed in the 1971 film adaptation.

I tried playing it. I didn’t do so well but I might try again with a better teacher.

You just make up excuses to ignore the fact that Republicans are no longer “the party of Lincoln.” That legacy is dead.

Ron DeSantis “Slavery was a good thing”.
Florida Rep Alex Andre falsely claimed that slaves were paid.
Republican Tom Cotton described slavery as a “necessary evil”.
Republicans in the 19th century freed the slaves, but the same party will probably own them if it ever comes legal again.

Democrats were the slave owners.
Keyword: “were”.
Now they are the Republicans of today.
A refusal to accept this truth means that you have the growing up to do, not me.

Tell me which political party now waves the confederate flag, the flag of the racist losers of the civil war.
