Contempt of Congress charges would have to be brought by Trump's own DoJ, so that seems unlikely. A future Congress that's not under MAGA-R control could hold hearings about it, but something tells me they'll have bigger fish to fry in 2027, getting ready for the all-important 2028 election.

My motives are clear, but since you don’t know me, I’ll explain: (1) Help Democrats win big majorities in Congress in 2026. (2) Shame Republicans in Congress into thwarting the T2.0 regime, however unlikely that is.
