Aw yeah, this is happening! @joerichardswrites.bsky.social boards the Satellite of Dreams to dissect the un-dissectable. Is Sonic Adventure good? No really. Look me in the eye and tell me it's good. open.spotify.com/episode/33Wn...

Hey! I'm on the eye out for someone to guest on a podcast about Undertale and Deltarune, just before Chapter 3 and 4 come out! I want to talk about your journey with Toby Fox's strange meta games, how they resonated with you and where you think it might go next! If that's you, I'd love to chat!

Incredibly flattered to have been invited onto the Daydreamcast by @broganchattin.bsky.social and @murph04.bsky.social to talk Sonic and a bunch of other games! It was a super fun time :) Listen down below! open.spotify.com/episode/33Wn...

Where I would say that TLOU Season 1 is a good substitute for playing the game, I absolutely cannot say the same for TLOU Season 2. There isn't a single change that adds value or recontextualises the game; it's a sloppy retelling that strips away basically everything interesting about the original

Finally got an evening to myself so I'm going to stare at a wall

Replayed Deltarune Chapter 1 + 2 this weekend I need the next two chapters this second. What a special special game

Thinking about this again and how little I want to teach anymore because the cheating is so rampant, and so many students are just functionally illiterate. Teaching probably saved my life, but AI is an existential threat to the learning process. Which, or course, is the point.

I kicked an entire bin over in celebration (I cleaned up after myself, what an insane flex)

I AM THE WORST UPSTAIRS NEIGHBOUR OF ALL TIME OH MY GOD

FUCKING YES

www.youtube.com/watch?v=M41G... mentally, I am here today

I really really need to stop saying "I hope something interesting happens this month". Whenever I do, something totally disastrous happens and totally derails everything

Hello My name is Joe My laptop decided to corrupt itself into dust and now I have lost literally all my work from the last 4 months do not be like Joe back up your work

Yeah I'm having a really really good morning

If I spoke about what I've gone through in the last 48 hours I'm liable to explode, but let me say right here that my laptop corrupting itself to the point of being stuck in BIOS is genuinely close to tipping me over the edge into despair

Who is Joe and what does he Trade

The moment that Xenoblade 3 became an all-timer for me

you could not write comedy funnier than this

random tuesday afternoon trailer drops I love you

It's a bit of a fluffy answer, but being able to even work in the games writing space and being able to meet - let alone work with - so many people I read while I was growing up is a privilege unlike any other. I've met so many people I would consider "heroes" in that respect. And they kick ass

Some music from the game appeared on my playlist, and it made me wonder Will we see Him come to Nintendo Switch Online

Did I mean to say overstate? Probably! But that's a human error :) That's because I cared enough to write :) Making a typo is far less embarrassing than admitting you use ChatGPT to write for you <3

I genuinely can't understate how furious it makes me that people are out here blatantly promoting AI text generation. I've only *just* gotten back into my groove with writing, and it's the greatest that I've felt in years. Taking the shortcut doesn't mean you're one of us. Get out.

I don't 'refuse to use' AI, I just don't use AI; in the same way that I don't shoplift, or plagiarise other people's books - it requires no effort of will, it's just not something I would think of doing

My Dad is watching the obligatory showing of Darkest Day on TV this evening, and you would genuinely think that it was happening in real time. He's shouting at the TV as if it's the actual news

Poorly conceived idea – Saturday night and everywhere is packed
