Absolutely, forgot to add that part

If you do modify an ebike to allow speeds greater than 25km/h, at least in the UK that ebike is now classed as an illegal unregistered motorcycle.

I think it was just bsky.social which was down. Even if you host your own PDS, most people still use the centralised Bsky Appview as well, although i believe this is currently being worked on.

Interesting that they haven't bothered setting their domain as their handle

Upgrading is a little annoying because you have to delete the folder and extract the tarball again, but I prefer this to other methods
comment in response to post
I put the tarball in ~/.local/share/go, then add ~/.local/share/go/bin to my $PATH

Why not just have a set response if the message to chatgpt is some variation of "thanks"

Surely more economical to build one parallel bridge for cars, or better yet leave it as is and allow cars to continue taking a different route (maybe also encouraging people to walk/cycle, with its own major economic benefits)

Did the pharmacist give you a handshake?

Wow, must be a nice neighborhood then :) When i was a kid i had the front wheel of my bike stolen when it was locked up, been super cautious ever since

Too bad they're using one of the worst bike rack designs of all time 😔

I would not want to go 50mph on tektro rotors 😭 These keep popping up for me too on eBay, I haven't been bothered to report them but maybe I should.

Lots of people overlook ebikes as an option/car replacement, and having a go on one might get people to rethink if they actually need a car

What's a Tory Pothole?

I mean to be fair I can't complain about the coverage here, I get 5g on EE in this area

Mine came with 2x Fields#2 as well. Just finished a can of the FLWRS alcohol free from last month's box, probably the nicest AF I've had, just topping Ghost Ship. Wrong glass, oops!
comment in response to post
Not waiting for the online tasting notes session to try the fields beers?

Most people don't care if they can "afford" a car or not, they'll just buy it anyway on finance and see the payments as a "necessary expense"
comment in response to post
That's a lot cheaper than mine! (yearly worked out a little cheaper) Although it is my first year so that's definitely a factor.

She looks unhealthy... Also the idea of receiving an image of a topless bloke asking me to vote a certain way is really funny

A driving ban would be well deserved

It's top speed is 28mph, which I can beat on my bike! I'm fairly sure it's not motorway legal, so I'd say it wouldn't replace a car for me, rather eat into journeys which could be made on two wheels.

Signal automatically sets to 4 weeks when you log in on a new device iirc

There's definitely a joke in there somewhere about third wheels

damn, sucks for the guy at the front

Where are the front brakes?

The solution is simple: delete your fb account (and maybe buy a vintage chopper)

Pale, Blonde and Wheat sounds good to me!

I read that as edible and now I'm wondering what this post would taste like

I thought that was a bike head unit, and now I'm thinking bike head units should have built in pagers
comment in response to post
Yep, totally. A more complete cycle network with some undesirable bits (as long as they're not unsafe) is much better than a less complete cycle network.

I always find walking/cycling next to an A road to be miserable and gruelling. Journeys always feel much longer than they are and the only interesting things you see are rubbish thrown by drivers cluttering the footpath.

I've been slowly replacing mine with USB C models, so I can charge them up at work off a spare laptop dock i have on my desk

These damn cyclists doing 50mph down footpaths!
