I do like some musicals but not all. My grandad ran an operative company mum also performed it skipped a generation with me π. Seen some wonderful ones and some terrible. The worst by miles was Hair at Sheffield Lyceum featuring Jake quickenden. Loved π¦ out of Hell tho totally daft story line

One of my mates years ago said seriously, at the time of Addicted to Love "you wouldn't have thought Robert Palmer used to be in Led Zeppelin".

He definitely made a very generous donation for South Yorks area too. Will share if I find anything.

Best wishes resolving it's the combo of pain and immobility that's getting me down and had aged me 2 decades.

That reminds me of when we went with school during the strike to see a free RSC production of Romeo n Juliet there. Polly James of The Liver Birds was the Nurse. One of the male leads nearly knocked himself out on a scaffolding pole holding some of the set. It was an amazing show

Best wishes I'm spinning around like Kylie navigating our complex triaging of orthopedics. Ref this week for sports specialism keyhole rather than a knee replacement. Was a touch annoyed re lecture on weight gain when the 18 months of mobility issues is the cause. Be persistent best wishes

25 metres breaststroke aged 10 at St Helens Comprehensive a few metres from the Kes football ground was my peak of excellence. Then we did Cud'orth baths from secondary school but I often had a letter from mum too Ill to swim. Preferred a morning in the school library

Oh the days when it tasted like chocolate rather than a bland mess to suit the American market. I avoided the Turkish not so delightful

I saw it after it happened I'm a big fan and I've known Mark since he was the Little Angels road crew before he replaced the late Michael Lee. Very thankful for BBC Sounds for audio catch up

I worked in 2 banks after leaving school and always shortened account to acct since. I do make up my own shorthand though and have my own phonetic alphabet when I forget a few of the real ones π. F for Freddie L for π T for π· all make sense to me

I've far more CDs and as many tapes as vinyl I intentionally left the price labels on. Back then at one point there were 8 or 9 places to buy music goods in Barnsley that weren't supermarkets. I'd very happily return in a time machine to the 80s and early 90s

The young uns who only stream music and only eread books will never get this. They also never saw personalised paper gig tickets and missed out on amateur paper posters and flyers.

I'm one of a small number of people who hasn't seen GoT but love her acting and attitude when she's been doing the rounds of the dreaded chat shows

I'm hoping we both out live social media. Before long something has to give with it and will probably be replaced by something even more tedious

Other adult friends could have picked up the phone too, early lockdown times showed the cracks in friendship groups that never recovered. Hope you get over the shock soon it's sad. I certainly will never give a third party access to my socials.

Very sad news and agree on the inappropriate tackless way and speed social media is used. Found out about the death of 2 close friends I knew in real life from the socials before close friends knew first. The society we now live in sadly.

Same here indie coffee shops for a treat. Probably the last time I used Costa was when I was working next door as a regular customer forgot my bottle of milk for my tea and got a take away cappuccino and a drop of milk in a carton for later drinks. They charged me at least Β£3 for the drop of milk

He had a good few years in remission a couple of times. The longest I think the first time until he became ill again. All very sad.

Gutted I'd followed his progress and latest treatment in Manchester seen the post of the journey home and hoped for the best. Never heard a bad word about him and he stayed positive despite everything.

Having far more bad days than good. I'm literally dragging my left leg around. Lots of options if money was no object. Lots of treatments the rest of the Europe use that the NHS doesn't recognise. Frustrated as 18 months ago I was very active. Weight loss help offered but I can do that when active

Barnsley Odeon 1960s ? Still remember it like that in about 1973 as a 5 year old. Love that the foyer hasn't changed much either

I have still managed to not set foot in the large cinema chain. It annoyed me when they opened with a red carpet arrival the day Brian Glover's event was in Peel Sq area and the traffic wasn't even stopped for 5 mins.

I never really took to Pink Floyd after the 60s era but fancied the experience with original sound system at our indie cinema

I don't take seeing my name in a list with some of the biggest names in pop and rock at all lightly.
I think moments like this prove hard work can pay off, but only with your support.
I make and share the music, but can't take any credit for what music fans decide to do next.
