Nice one, Wil, great sense of space.

Thanks. I've tried tags in an unmethodical way, to little effect. I should give them more thought. I was being a little flippant anyway, I think it just takes time...

Good find. Was it in your newly created wildlife garden?

Beautiful, captures their alert and restless nature nicely.

I take it this is the Heaney. That would be very kind and very much appreciated. If I can reciprocate with engraving, watercolour or book (!) let me know.

Yes, given the time and the chance, Dadia will be rich again. Life is fluid and resilient, it's species and communities that are vulnerable, ours included - a lesson many seem not to want to learn.

A hugely enjoyable read, Julian. It was hard to be reminded of the wildfires in Dadia, I have such vivid memories of its riches. I hope your eloquent messages are read by those with the power to change our direction.

As you say, you've seen the mountain. Takes the breath away doesn't it. Safe journey home.

Two years looking out of the bedroom window each morning, we asked the same question - is it out? Never lost its magic. I don't know how long you'll be there but I hope you have allocated plenty of time to the Cascades!
