Pour water across your eyes when you are clear of the cloud (from the nose out works best).
Wash your hands. If you have outer garments take them off (or you will contaminate your hands, which can get alloying when you touch your mouth/nose/eyes)
It will fade.

But if I can spend time (miserable) in a closed room where you can't see for the gas, and be in decent shape in 20 minutes, you can absolutely cope with it in the out of doors.
Stop breathing (don't "hold your breath" almost everyone inhales when they think about it that way) and move away.

A hit ghoul hollers.
Miller’s referencing of a “mask” here is projection. Psychopaths like Miller wear what is called “a mask of sanity” to hide their sadism and total absence of empathy.

If someone said I was filled with “bile” and a “world-class hater,” I would be deeply confused about who they were talking about.
Moran’s criticism of Miller evoked a reaction of this magnitude because it’s true.
Moran was trying to sound an alarm—an alarm the White House has demanded be silenced.

The Trump administration’s decision to try and use a 400 person non-violent protest against ICE as an excuse to try and call in the national guard after driving ICE vans through a line of protesters? How does that look? What message does that send to everyone else? Who looks right, here?

As someone on here (can’t recall who!) remarked, protests and the repression of protests are both performances for a watching public. Security forces that allow protests to remain peaceful can manage to rob them of their saliency. Security forces that constantly escalate prove the protestors’ point

Notice how quickly trump send National Guard troops to L.A. to calm immigration protests but refused to do the same on Jan. 6 when his supporters were storming the Capitol.
A betrayal of our democracy. Show courage and say no to Trump.

Villains are not actually interesting. We think they are because interesting villains make for better stories.
But stories require suspension of disbelief.
Real villains are usually boring as hell, because they're basic as hell: selfishness and cruelty don't require depth.
