One could also discuss with the women if they are willing to allow release to go forward if it will result in prosecution of the men involved. Enough of the patriarchal "protection" bullshit. They can crop, blur, or not release, depending on what the women want.

I believe they mean anti- Anti-discrimination laws, of which there aren't really any. And the government doesn't accredit anything anyway, does it?

We stand for something. It's just something awful.

Oil money and oppression?

The state of higher education these days is pathetic. They should be applauding this woman for taking a stand and speaking out about what she believes, not caving in to fears of reprisal from the administration, which, I suspect, influenced this decision

Just unfuckingbelievable. When will I wake up from this bizarre, unbelievable, boring yet terrifying nightmare?

Dammit, now we're expected not to abuse them, too? How dare they? (Seriosly, yikes! I don't even know how to respond to that in a non-sarcastic manner.)

What about the current fucking president's cognitive decline? Who fucking cares about Biden, he's not the president, nothing terrible happened, and he is battling cancer. What about the senile guy running the country into the ground?

Since no one will be giving us the money to do that lobbying, the other solution would be to severely limit the ability of individuals and corporate donors fund campaigns. We need legislation to reverse citizens united, as well as equal public financing for candidates. Even that playing field!

Yeah, sure. Now offboard all the DOGErs who were never onboarded in the first place.

Even that ensures nothing, but at least we can wave the papers indignantly. I would just assume that nothing they promise can be trusted, in writing or otherwise.

It is truly sickening for those of us that understand what this means.

And do so in a way that is not immediately reversible by executive fiat.

"Transform" being a synonym for "Turn to shit". What a pandering headline more suitable to the Washington Times.

Oh wow, I had NO idea he was the manager of the Supremes and the Temptations. He was terrific as M'benga and I was so excited that they brought the character back-i always thought he had so much potential.

Honestly, no one should be sent to South Sudan for any reason.
comment in response to

Oh absolutely! I'd rather just see them say "sent away to" or "shipped off to" as "deportation" implies some sort of legal justification.

I honestly think selecting a cabinet by randomly picking people off the street would result in far better candidates.

My doubts about the Democratic party are because they keep pulling shit like this, not standing up to Trump, trying to impeach, blocking nominees...I DO not care about Biden anymore.

Get rid of vouchers, give UBI and let people just live. Be concerned with REAL crime, not this petty bullshit.
