Huh! Kind of look like the guys that represented the Morlocks in my Classics Illustrated "The Time Machine".

Well damn! I should have used my Google 'search a song' feature! Thanks! But they do have a similar style, don't you think?

I never met her but I had a huge crush on her in 1978.

Ha ha! Little bugger can hit too! I coached t-ball one summer back in the 90s when my son was about this guy's age. Felt I had to pitch in and not be one of the sitting and complaining parents. It was a NIGHTMARE getting those kids pointed the right way, and the parents were just as bad.

Yay!! Thanks, Jessi! My wife had a really good chuckle from this, so if you're taking up the strain of helping keep my wife in good humour, then God Bless you girl!

And a mighty groan went up from the crowd! That's terrible, yet at the same time, very, very clever . . .

It's from a 2015 book "War Plan Red: The United States' Secret Plan to Invade Canada and Canada's Secret Plan to Invade the United States". The author must have thought that the current Canadian flag was easier to understand and relatable to readers (and sell books?).

Yes, and the camera captures them all just staring helplessly at this creature, their heads swivelling as they follow its path!

And there was little "girl" calf (seen in this ad), kind of cute, and later - during the War - a little "boy" calf as well. The ads in LIFE magazine were actually pretty good, and the artist who drew these was brilliant in capturing expressions on these anthropomorphic creatures.

Yay!! This is just sooooooo much nicer to see than all this bumpf about Trump.

For God's sake don't let any Frenchmen see this! They already have an inflated opinion of their worth in this world.

Thank you. It's what neighbours do, right? Recall your FDR in 1941: "I was talking about what people would do if their neighbor's house caught fire - if they happened to have some garden hose in the cellar they would take it out and lend it to their neighbor to put his fire out."

All they need now is for a cat to walk over that freshly poured cement!

I think this constitutes 1930s porn. Just image the legions of artists these magazines employed!

Thank you for this, Anonymous. Feeling a little picked on these days here in the Far North. It's causing us to become a little less polite than people have come to expect. Soon we'll no longer be saying "sorry".

Why couldn't you have been voted President? The world would be a heck of a lot better place for four years.
