Well then, looks like we've found the problem. Starts at the top, doesn't it..

Who are these "allies" please?

Understood. My dad was a WW-ii vet. But we quickly forget. By the 3rd generation, much is forgotten. Scary.

Then it's not truly personal. It's theological only; they have not actually encountered God. Furthermore, no human can transform God. Doesn't work that way.

Godzilla vs...? Dukes of Hazard.. Gotta go watch them reruns..

Of course it does. "Jesus" and the Christian religion" are two disparate things.

Please explain to me what a "democratic socialist" is.

That's why in the UK they're called "ministers."

I've been saying these people are behaving as would middleschoolers, but it's worse than that.

It's "political Fundamentalism." I face this in the religious context all the time. Recently, someone said to me, "The Church needs to preach the Gospel." I asked, " What's that? Can you define that?"

Small backpack with multiple zippered pockets. So I won't need the ditsey gadget.

In an historical context, attending church could have been a political move. In some cases, still is today. But not in all cases. Misjudge it and pay the price.

That looks a bit too good. I'd go for more like freezer-to-table Costco type stuff. You know, stick in the MW, high sodium, etc. Or Cisco..

What will be the new names? Trump-I Trump-II, Trump-III, etc?

Never heard of her. I don't / won't acquire tick tock.

"You're harboring rioters.." Really? What about the Capital Riot? They're all free now. Never forget.

There is Jesus and there is the *religion* of Christianity. You have to be careful and make a distinction between the differences.

In the view of MAGA, Democrats are regarded as the Jews were in the 1930s by the NAZIS. They were always disliked and misunderstood. Now, it simply is much worse.

Not a good thing to say. When Hillary said, "they're dead," relating to the Benhazi incident, that didn't help her either.

There are a lot of dynamics in play here.

Bigger fish to fry: When I was a little kid they maintained a prayer time in schools and "fish on Fridays" or that cardboard pizza. This stuff creeps into schools, good or bad, eg.: celebrations of the "cult of death" (Halloween). Oh, I forgot, it's just a scary dress-up day.

I would moreso blame the government. While perhaps valid, a downside of such litigation will be driving up fuel costs for those who can't afford the current pricing now.

While they're at it, maybe they could defy voters and ban the state's lottery. You know, since they want to control things. I used to live in MO.

Why bother to read it? I asked my NC senator a question about a bill and never got a response. Suspect he didn't have an answer.

If your righteous test passes, you can be as out there / aggressive as you'd like.. without having to look over your shoulder. With the current GOP, there is a cost to their lies. Deep, deep down, they are not going to feel too good about themselves.

You might be pleased to know that upon submitting a query to ChatGPT, the software referenced your YT video, not any other source - just yours.

Maybe they need their own Air Traffic Controller.

These all are great arguments but they are "no-win" arguments with MAGA. MAGA will just say, "You can't trust CDC."
comment in response to post
Not sure what this means aside from you can no longer trust the FDA. Your final answer should be your doc anyway.

They are self-incriminating themselves. This is nothing new but they ignore that.. "You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things." (Rom. 2:1)

Sorry, I only wear Chacos and Tevas.

MAGA thinks this is great: "Let's hurt China.." What no one seems to realize is that both China and Russia were our allies during WWii. "We" hate China because they are not a democratic nation. So.. are we? Now?

What's hard to understand, is that so many in active military as well as veterans still adore him. And Trump is so anti-military.

OAC, welcome to my world. Forget govt., He's rejected by the Church as well. Aphorism: Jesus pulls up and sees a poorly dressed man sitting on the steps of a church. Jesus asks, "What's the matter?" "They won't let me into their church." Jesus replied, "Don't worry, they won't let me in either."

It's Romania's playback from the 80's.. under Nicolae Ceaușescu. Don't say it can never happen here.

Of course not. We all (not "all" of course) knew he wouldn't / couldn't. You know those "professional" wrestling matches where they all shout how big and bad they are? This is that.

Supermajority. Could override the veto. Sorry to say..

I'm glad you know that.. That the pressing issue is the deficit.

Well, the terrorists are about to pass #636. Fear mongering, among other things. You may have to buy your high-schooler an unabridged version of "The Diary of Anne Frank."

The people who say they want Christian Nationalism have no idea what they're asking for. Russia has Christian Nationalism. Now, so does Hungary. Saying you want government to support your church's ideology is idolatry. It's also faithless.

I live in NC. Massive MAGA country. Trump yard posters still up. Republican supermajority in house and senate. I doubt that Trump will be blamed.

It's not always indicated. Requires the patient to receive a higher dose of radiation. This article is an example of tacit sensationalism.

On occasion; sometimes, but it's not the norm. As such, this is old, old news.

Takes guts. To follow your ethics and not the money.

I watch all these guys very closely. While it's possible to critique anyone, I am watching others who are far, far more horrendous in leading the sheep astray. Unfortunately, today, the Church overall is in need of a major reformation (again).
comment in response to post
Probably because we have a Democratic governor. The other guy.. Mark something, tilted even MAGA's needle a little too far.
comment in response to post
It's the Fox cult. What do you think life was like with Jim Jones? But it's MAGA's only "news" outlet. Take that away, and they would be like a one-bit computer. Not a lot being processed there.

Good catch. Harvard arguably is the most prestigious institution in the world. Trump made a big mistake.

The line in the Battle Hymn of the Trumpublic tells all: "He'll say 'black is white and white is black' 'til all the lines are blurred.."

It's an attack on liberal (classic definition) though. And it's an exceptionally subtle move toward Christian Nationalism, where you will be told what to believe. In a philosophical school, this could be called, "Epistemic relativism."
