Do you think he stopped getting the calls? Or did he stop grifting? Game 1 was epically bad, game 2 was just sort of bad? I didn’t even really see him try to draw phantom fouls tonight?

I was hoping for <15 TOs for the game

Where did Finch pull that idea out of?

Him playing like an all star wasn’t one of your keys to the game😂

Transitioning to hopeful energy? Ready for exuberance if they keep this up?

Especially because DDV and Ant don’t have to be as open to hit their shots
comment in response to

DDV and/or Naz getting hot would be nice (let alone Ant hitting some on volume shooting)
comment in response to

Naz may need to opt in to his option after these playoffs. DDV has been even worse…

Feel like officiating much better this game (last game was horrible), we need ANT to play like a superstar or we’re not winning.

Offense was terrible in second half AND we missed shots = bad combo

Or when Thibs (or Finch) empty their benches with 90 seconds left.

Nuggets. Mostly lack of rim protection.

He’s been very good tonight on both ends.

Luckily with a 20pt lead we have some margin for error.

Surprised GS hasn’t gone back to zone—or did I miss where we solved that?

I think this scenario explains the KAT trade. Wolves didnt want ANT in this situation in a few years.

I already checked and Indy would have home court.

This team (and KAT) change any minds tonight?

This strategy seems to be working a little better—lol

Go with a defensive or offensive lineup to start the 4th?

How has KAT shown a lack of heart? He does seem a little less connected to this team than he was to the wolves last year—and Randle/DDV definitely seem to be firey dudes.

I remember the effort and play was inspiring last year, but they were “headed to the ECF” without playing one actual legit team. (That was my original point, I think Knicks fans are overrating the accomplishments of last year’s team). It does sound like their intangibles/likeability were elite.)

Similar to how fans like a player until they get a big contract.

Thanks for the perspective. I enjoyed watching KG win a title in Boston and Wiggins win a title in GS. Hoping Towns does the same (unless the wolves ever make it to a finals).

That makes sense. What if Embiid had been healthy and they were swept in round 1? Same feeling? Or was their identity forged in the regular season? I just remember the east playoffs without a healthy Giannis/Embiid and thought the other teams were overestimating how well they did in the playoffs
comment in response to
post
As wolves/KAT fan, can you explain why Knicks fans seem to prefer last year’s team? Last year they lost in the second round of an Eastern Conf playoff where there was only one good, healthy team (Celtics). I think they’re overestimating last years team due to how bad the East playoff bracket was.
