So who holds all the cards, Donald?

Governments having partnerships with private firms. What could possibly go wrong. I expect the "Don't believe in democracy" firm Panantir is one of them.

Why not BBC (not just the World Service?) Answer: because if you promote heat pumps like Evan Davis did, You get slammed by the oily-fingered BBC bosses.

I thought that if they want to sell into the EU/UK they will have to do a sustainability report anyway?

Utter folly. The explanation is that the Snake Oil lobbyist are desperate to take investment away from cheap and quick renewables, and instead plough it into expensive, delay-prone high tech projects. Meantime, the oil and gas companies can drill baby drill and trash our future. We see you.

Have you considered the IEAs track record in underestimating renewable technology growth? With 500 mile batteries, and the price of EVs cheaper, only die-hard Magas will buy an ICE. It's only a year or so away.

Nice, except the lie about Drax being low carbon.

Sad, but the market will kick in and kick fossil fuels out. It's a delay, not a fatal blow to renewables. Remember his campaign for coal?

Local renewable energy is also vital for a long term resilience against infrastructure difficulties. Climate impacts are unpredictable, massive when they hit, and coming faster than we think. John, do you know when the carbon budget is likely to run out?

Exactly this. Politicians have been positively duped by big biz.

They've lost the plot. They had no plot.
