Would it be too ironic if someone did a Hitler’s Bunker spoof of Netanyahu and his cabinet right now?

What they seem to forget is that Labor took this policy to an election and won big time. What would they prefer - that political parties didn’t keep their promises?

Anyone can nominate anyone, even themselves. And they are assessed by an independent panel. So why assume that it is Albanese’s fault?

Consider this. Pesutto is declared bankrupt. Has to resign from parliament. Deeming’s lawyers therefore don’t get paid and sue Deeming. Deeming declared bankrupt. Has to resign from parliament. 🤣

I’d say yes. The margins were quite small. So One Nation got two senators out if the deal and the Coalition lost a bunch of metro seats. Seems fair.
(I was handing out HTV cards in Sturt and fair to say that the preference deal was probably the most talked about fault with the Libs campaign).

It appears to me that One Nation did better out of the preference deal than the coalition did.
. On the one hand, for One Nation, a seat in WA and could easily have been more.
. On the other hand, for the coalition, the preference deal likely sent voters Labor’s way.

Worth pointing out that even if the coalition is reformed, the WA Nationals are still separate and there are no Nationals at all in SA, Tasmania or NT. The Nationals as a party exist in fewer states than the Greens.

And just to be absolutely clear about the proposal - it’s only the bit above $3m that will be taxed at the higher rate that itself is still lower than the income tax they would have paid if it wasn’t in a SMSF.
