You might think you’re helping but you’re not

LOL Hegseth ain't paying. Right now all they're talking about on military forums is how the deployments are broken up into 29 day blocks so DoD doesn't have to pay them active duty benefits INCLUDING no allowance for housing. Bring these dudes some cold water. They'll keep ICE off your back.

Reminder they said this exact bull shit back then

If you burn down a forest, you don't miss out on lumber for just that season. You have to replant all the trees, nurture them, and wait for them to grow. The science and research budget cuts happening now are wanton, senseless arson. Recovery, if it ever happens, will take generations.

Maybe he can learn? Thibs has not in three stops over 15 years.

Yeah the whole “best performance in 25 years” thing doesn’t hold up when the context is “for 15 years Thibs’ teams run out of gas in the postseason”

And false intentions! No one GAF about efficiency it’s about ideology

12.) Is representational drift real or an artifact of looking at rates instead of spike times? This paper uses SpikeShip, an optimal transport-based analysis of spike trains, to say spike patterns don't show representational drift (but also have very unsmooth dynamics 🤔) www.cell.com/cell-reports...

Yeah but you can’t expand all the other things without expanding the IRS so the poll is nonsensical

Weird how it’s always an anon making these arguments

Yes usually it’s the other way around—we take all the smart people from other countries. So they’re already reasonably full elsewhere

Looks like 57-58% in the EU. Assumed it was a universal issue having to do with something innate (teenage girls sure seem more mature than boys of the same age) but very interesting to see potential differences starting so early

Wow. Does the UK have the same 60:40 ratio of women:men attending college?

This is an unusual order for several reasons, suggesting the majority thought it necessary. This was issued: • after midnight • before the government even responded (perhaps most irregular) • while a Fifth Circuit request remains pending & • before a dissenting justice could finish their statement.

Great to hear Tom. Well deserved.

Presumably other windows opened. I mean maybe he got temporary cold feet or something but it’s just one more of a long list of coincidences

I don’t. What does 90 degree deflection mean? Since I’m referring to the fact that the car drove directly towards the building for a long stretch before turning 90 degrees and driving away

“happened to” just like Oswald “happened to” hit Kennedy with 2/3 bullets in 8 seconds from a misaligned bolt action after turning down a far easier shot I’m usually a Hanlon’s Razor acolyte but there’re just too many weird coincidences across the board

And let’s say this “incompetent loser” did manage to hit him. Why would anyone cover it up?! What possible angle would Ruby have to off some loner?
comment in response to post
I’ve been to the museum, and 1) it’s far and 2) it would have been way easier to hit the vehicle when the car was coming towards the building instead of when it turned left and was driving away

That’s the problem though: he’s an incompetent loser. And it’s been well documented hitting a target from that distance with a shitty rifle was like a 1/20 event at best.
