it feels like it disincentivizes exploration at every turn, 9 times out of 10 I explore an optional area in the overworld it's some giant "come back later, dumbass" boss that one shots everyone. makes me want to not even bother and just do the mainline

It has nothing to do with actual darts scoring, it's just a series of rules to follow that use a dartboard as a visual format. There's even a clue you find in the game that says "wow, it's so cool that the puzzles with the dartboard don't require knowing the rules of darts!" lol

I have a master notebook of "confirmed" things in addition to a pad of post-its that are more temporary or work in progress- I might use a post-it to work through a Classroom puzzle and then when I get the answer I lock it into place in the Notebook

I got a good enough deal on the Pixel 9 Fold that it was the same price as the normal phone I would have gotten, so I tried it out. 90% of the time it's a normal phone and 10% of the time I have Big Video like it's an ipad, even have a kickstand on the stand. I like it but wouldn't pay full price

It literally works backwards based on if the window on the pc is focused or not- when you alt-tab out of the game to look at something else on the pc, you can see the main menu animating but can't control it. when it's focused, you can control the menu with the steam deck but not see it. bizarre

I wonder if it's also an intentional use of slightly different personnel- I'd imagine the discipline overlap with 3D cutscenes is people who could be making other game content while the illustrations can be given to the concept art team who are usually "done" with the project earlier
