I know most know, but many do not. Memorial Day is to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I lost 24 crew members in an accident, and I think about them often. In November we thank those that served on Veterans Day.

I can remember a time when no matter what your political affiliation there was a level of reverence and respect towards Presidents. Those days are long gone and it’s now a world of hatred and vitriol.

For those veterans who have abandoned the core values that were instilled upon us…shame on them. Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. Those that believe in daily lies and forgetting their oath is an embarrassment to those that have gone before us.
