Used to be strongly against. Saw it as shift in the relationship between the individual and the state, as a requirement for citizens to obtain a licence from the state. But I've shifted to be in favour, constant need for photo ID, way we're effectively tracked thro tech anyway. I envy Estonian model

That's what I want from AI really: useful automation based on making things I have to do manually automatic, not help writing things and making images. That's where efficiency lies, not the false illusion of cognitive or artistic work

I did a couple of tests on this website www.allaboutvision.com/eye-care/eye... and it seems I am left-eyed but perhaps not enormously left-eyed. But I'm not uniformly left-handed either

I remember this term being used in the BBC programme "Wrong Car, Right Car" many years ago, showing people how to buy cars. "Keep-fit" (non-electric) windows featured a lot, as did asking for "mats 'n' flaps" to close the deal. lostmediawiki.com/Wrong_Car,_R...
