That's true, I just find us to be such a disappointing species, so much potential and we do so much gross shit to each other and create societies that are cruel to most of the people in them

yeah, im speaking more historically and currently. I have some hope for the future, though I have less hope for extreme positive change in my lifetime than i used to, now im just hoping for things to atleast start going in a positive direction. We just gotta escape whatever this cycle is
