We did a lot of our own math when we took our mortgage. My dad (mid60s) pressed us to go to a broker, not just iur bank. We told him our manageable numbers worked to ~750k max. "Oh but with your income, you could get 900k easy!" And live in fear of rate hikes, eating buttered noodles, sure.

The thing with Pedro Pascal is he not only gives a fuck; he knows he's huge enough to spend all day trashing bigots safely because entire franchises are built around him atm. He's no dispensable Gina Carano-tier secondary guy. This also underlines how most famous artists as big as him are cowards.
