This is the same parent who pushed me to go to his accountant, rather than filing my two pieces of paper online.
After 15 years of getting a rebate every year, this guys told me I owed almost 1k.
I feel like people of the previous generation just made piece with losing money.

Californication and By The Way came out during my formative years, pure summer jams, and can't be excised from my playlists.
Anything after, or even before (excluding BloodSugarSexMagik) is foreign and cofusing to me.

No, these kinds of posts are great for people outing themselves as fodder for the Blocking Cannon

When we moved to Scarborough, our more...downtown friends looked like they were planning our funeral.
Oh no! So much green space and restaurants! Help us, ahhhhh!

Butter Chicken Roti
Gandhi (from the article) technically closed, but it was taken over by one of the chefs, and operates as Roti Mahal. Highly recommend.

Don't worry, they're going to gloss over Trump's actual comments (boys will be boys!) and go off about mean lefties saying maybe he should have cancer, or something.

Doesn't everyone in that region carry a little Old Bay dispenser on their belt, like Hank Hill's emergency WD40?

I'm willing bet he wouldn't know any of the names mentioned without prompting, including Chevron.

In the wake of the most recent headline out of Australia, I saw Toronto->Sydney, with an LAX transfer, for CAD1100. That's rock bottom prices.
Seems like almost no one wants to touch US soil, if they can avoid it (including us, looking at more expensive routes).

I saw that book cover on some fintech guy's profile yesterday and thought "There's no way that book isn't at least a little bit racist..."

You can't be a leftist and defend gen-AI. Because it requires saying that the product is more important than people who make it, and if people don't come first, you're not a leftist. Gen-AI doesn't free a person from a menial assembly line job. It makes an artist unable to pursue their passion.

I'm not saying don't do your research. But some cities have their neighbourhoods that *can* live up to the hype.
In this particular case it just happened to be one of the few non-tourist traps in the mother of all tourist traps, not an expat area.

I will defend to my death Bengal Tandoori restaurant in Sintra, Portugal.
I loved every portuguese restaurant we ate at for 2.5 weeks, but when we needed a break from it, this amazing spot (which did a hawaiian pizza for my toddler) was there. 10/10, no notes.

It says something about the privilege we have, voting in Canada my whole life, that I was mildly annoyed that I kept getting asked for my voter info card on one of our many, many advance polling days.
I've got my driver's license, I've got a pulse, what more do you need?!
