Love the rhythm and the imagery! It would make a really nice and cozy song I think

to try on her dresses and shoes as a kid and hope for the day when I'd finally be able to wear them.
(And yes, she is nearly 6ft tall. Shoutout to tall cis women!)

And I am very sorry that you had to fight for this part of your body against that kind of violence, it's just horrible.

Thank you for talking about that so openly.
And yes, my experience is also that those who had to fight for their bodies in a non-disabled cis straight female way (I'd include disabled cis women here too!) give a lot more empathy to each other, even if the experiences are completely different.

Omg, I feel this whole thread.
I think the end result is doing sometimes this, sometimes that, so that in the end I'm on speed limit on average XD

Wtaf???
I don't know where that dude turned up, but it reminds me of the middle aged creeps who would come to our poly meetup and think polyamory was a sort of free for all, no responsibilities and be offended when I said wouldn't fuck straight cis men.

Ugh, no.
Thinking of all the voice actors who got cheated out of their pay to create that.
And I'm saying that as someone who would really benefit from listening to scholarly books.

She is a European short hair, though (but with a surprising amount of hair -- my gf likes to joke that after cleaning her fav spot you can make a second cat out of the hair she harvested...)

Ouch, poor cat
We had that problem with Karla a few times. Had to hold her tight and shampoo her. None of us liked it.
I think what helped was that we now get her injections against her arthritis, so she can reach everything. And maybe the experience made a lasting impression on her, too...

Yeah, I started using a method with knots last year for the same reason. The dress was from before...
I'm very glad I found that advice somewhere, it has saved me on numerous occasions.
I've even updated the system to diff between wood and steel needles ^^

Oh, why does she need shaving, did her hair felt?
And good that she minds it so little

That's a really good point, thank you!
I'm very glad for all your advice, it makes me slightly hopeful that I don't have to frog the whole thing.

Thank you!
I think I'll try a few needle sizes. I'll have to order more yarn anyway, I think, because I've grown since then 🙈 and my calculations were off.

Yes, that's what I'd usually do, but this is my own design 😅

Glad it works for her! Does she have to wear it permanently?
Karla hated her collar so much she got rid of it several times and had to wear a kitten sized version so she wouldn't wriggle out of it.

Hi, this is really beautiful and I just wanted to send it to my friend whether she wants to test. However, 4 weeks is simply not feasible, even in the medium size range. Please consider increasing the testing period to at least 8 weeks.

Ouch to the sewing machine and the TV incident 😢
Can't offer advice, but a solid hug. Also, I'm glad your foot wasn't beneath that sewing machine as it fell...

Yeah
Though the opposite also worked fine for me: trust the German customers protection officers at Stiftung Warentest to run every printer they can get their hands on through their testing, read the results and get the winner in your categories. Last printer lived 10 years. Hope this one does, too.

And we all know who that is. Not actual Nazis, of course.

Feel you so much. I have these lovely flat summer shoes, but they squeeze my toes together like a vice.
I don't believe that cis women like their feet crunched either, it's a whole trope ffs

Oooops, reminds me of an older bike I had. I got very good at estimating the time it took to reach standstill 🤣 don't worry, it's in bike heaven now.

🤣🤣🤣 no, not at all. I might have had to look up the same. Which ones were they?(curious now)
Reminds me of my first semester studying history of science and reading with: an English dict, a Latin dict AND a German specialized vocab dict.

And to you 😢 another indigenous person lost to hate. I offer you an embrace in mutual solidarity. (And my words feel very rough and insufficient, sorry)
