Yeah. The Democrats lost big time. Further- they created the problem of DJT by creating a vacuum in rural America. They need to change message and people or they are going to continue to lose again!.

I think the world is moving at a different rhythm today than it was when we were emerging into the world. I think many of the current legislators - federal and state need to get out of the way. They just don't get it. The world moves faster, more tech, more screens, more decisions.

Agreed! The rules haven't just changed- they have evaporated! Chart a new rule book and stop clinging to old ways!

I would argue that if you haven't been a caretaker of children- you have blind spots when it comes to legislating the needs of parents. It's not that you can't- it's that you better have a whole team of people who have been parents advising you

There is a small handful of Dems bringing the problems to light - the rest need to go. @davidhogg.bsky.social is right! The Dems better get their act together. Being anti-Trump is NOT enough!

They are impacting more than 40% of the economy with freeze: econo dev (construction & architecture) food (farms, restaurants, school nutrition) Healthcare (CMS & health coverage, research, CDC) edu (Universities, State dept of Edu, Office of Special Edu, Disabilities) and all transportation

So, wait kick out all the folks who do the labor for food, then raise prices on food where the labor is-then freeze paychecks for industry related to govt (40% of everything)...Americans cant buy food cuz there is none and no $$ to buy it? we see the plan so clearly for the next 4 years

Just to remind - they said opioids (Oxycodone) were non-addictive for the first 4-5 years.

Make sure you let them know this starts on Saturday - tomorrow!

They want to scream it until everyone else agrees. So we better get our person screaming the opposite opposing voice or we will be drowned out!! @booker.senate.gov

State legislature!
comment in response to post
I think you want to be writing this to your state legislature not your principal. The school districts have to follow state law. If your state legislature is falling in behind this Radical Right Wing Toddlers (RRWTs) - then you may need to write this to them!

It's gonna be sooner than 2035. Sanibel, Captiva, Ft Myers can't get insurance now
comment in response to post
That's not an option for most young or low to moderate income buyers.
comment in response to post
Most folks can't buy a home if they don't have insurance- the financing entity won't allow it. (1) the cost of insurance is doubling with less coverage in some areas - with no sign of increases slowing in years to come (2) there are other areas where insurance has simply pulled out completely
