i am kinda in the anti tech culture war camp because i find many of tech's "optimization" philosophy to be anti human. if we had fewer drivers and fewer car trips and less space for cars i wouldnt be against ubers becoming waymos

the only time ive felt like ive almost died was with police making an arrest near me and with cars behaving stupidly and almost killing me. (fires were pretty bad too but I was in a safe place.)

literally we're in the planning process to extend the K line north to hollywood. and the C like will be extended to Santa Monica. The Sepulveda line will terminate here, and it will take you from the valley to UCLA to LAX.

when the light rail extends to hollywood, long beach and santa monica, and when we eventually get BRT, heavy rail, and perhaps regional rail to this central hub, i think everyone will realize how important this investment by @metrolosangeles.bsky.social was.

very glad they put such an emphasis on aesthetics. this will truly by LA's union station of the westside, especially when we get the sepulveda subway down there.
