One cannot have gradations of uniqueness, one either is or is not unique.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social "My lived experience" - you should put it on a T-shirt. But I draw the line at Partridge being a wombat. No matter how many examples you provide that he might be, in my lived experience he's anything but.

I was around for it, and felt the SNES came out on top. But there's something to be said for the PS / N64 showdown...to my mind, a greater era. I love how the 64 held it's own with cartridges against the well-evolving cd games.

Aww you did say, my bad. I guess I just got lost in the nostalgia, and forgot that it will have been used as a pc by some.

Whilst I share your concerns about the incoming admin, this is an action cast by the British Govt, not the US. Are the two linked? I doubt it. Proposing, organising and then actioning this would take longer than since the election took place.

It's really not that big a deal and can't see it being an issue...Brits need same/similar to travel to the U.S. It's around £15-£20 for the whole year.

I'm trying my hand at EVE Online for the first time in around 20 years. I know it's a slow burner, but forgot just how tough it is to learn from starting out. I'm ok with that though...but maybe don't ask me if I'm still ok with it in a couple of weeks lol

Slight amendment - I actually meant Twilight Princess, but still enjoyed WW

Tough on favourite console, it's between the N64 or the GameCube...64 had some of the best titles for sure, but then the GC really stepped it up with titles such as Rogue Squadron 2/3, SSB-Melee, LoZ -WW... but ultimately I just properly loved the controller.

I cannot agree more. Still gives me goosebumps at key points throughout, even 20+ years later.

The game being complete upon release! Can't stand that we just accept lazy and shoddy game development, their fallback being "we can just release what we have and add fixes as we go"

I got lost a few times in the EVE online soundtrack.
