As an old person: not the same. During the Cold War we had the very real possibility of nuclear weapons being used to destroy the world.
And Israel is, right now, in A MUCH stronger position in the Middle East than it was any time during the Cold War.

Yeah it's so cool when we make female gender the subject of mockery. Really shows we learned a lot from feminism.

Yeah. He's such a disappointment. I supported him even though, living in Pittsburgh, I'd heard from people in Braddock who said he was not who he was pretending to be. I thought it was just local beefs.

I had this happen. Turned out to be the backup battery on my Verizon internet interface in the basement. It would beep every few hours or so. Could hear it in the living room. Finally I figured out when it would beep so I could be ready and track it too the source.

Yeah same. It's a fun little film but the whole thing is just, some famous person in a scene, camera doesn't move, person doesn't move or make any expression. It's kind of like an AI film where the whole thing is, oh, that's Bill Murray.

There's a reason for these rules, right? It's not just to polite. Can't the defendant argue in court that the trial isn't fair, and have charges thrown out?
