Yeah, I think the fountain pen thing is going to become a problem. I’m delaying other plans to spend more time doodling and I’ve started looking for the Safari in other colors.

Call it a PSA or whatever but therapy is great for helping you recognize the not healthy stuff you grew up with but couldn’t see so you kept it rolling in adulthood and didn’t recognize the way other unhealthy people were grooving along in your blind spots.

I ordered a Lamy Safari. It will be my first fountain pen. I am experiencing what could be called a disproportionate level of excitement.

Sometimes a quiet, seemingly dull life is the reward for surviving profound dysfunction.

I love this for a lot of reasons but mostly because embracing one’s creativity is empowerment on such a wild, untouchable level how could anything ever really challenge it? Once you realize every perceived limitation is just another spice on the rack there’s no stopping you.

Anyone who treats you like they’ve got you all figured out is just hoping you won’t challenge the assumption.
