Of course not. “How” implies that have agency to control their mayhem. They’re simply going to decide to mess up something. ;-)

"Likely" "May" "Never be the same"
A reminder the recommendation that, "Nobody would be better for this job than [insert worker's name]" could be either a stellar referral OR a warning that the worker is so incompetent that the job should be left unfilled rather than let them muck it up.

In any other timeline, everyone from the head down to the department secretary would have resigned already. There is no shame anymore.

It may be useful someday. I come in contact with a *lot* of building methods; We even had a printed house developer nearby, but the costs caused it to fail. Wall structure is about 3% of a (finished) house cost, and we can do that conventionally for less than $5(US)/SF. It's a tough market to beat.

Sadly, the part of the house that can be 3D printed is the cheapest part of the housing equation. It's nice if (a) you like to have curves in walls and (b) like the aesthetic. But it's not really cheaper or (imho) better. At least not yet.

Also, imho, you're not really saving coral reefs if you're not saving the coral - you're just making artificial habitats.

Indeed. Constant decline is a good thing, I just don't want to get excited by a clown-made dip. ;-)

I agree that the oil industry is self-servingly dishonest at all times. But (you knew that was coming) this drop-off seems directly in sync with the Tariffs and the near cessation of transpacific shipping.

Lock force is just a function of material selection, though. You just need a higher E(/G) on your socket. It’s a great model.

I know who is in the opposition, and they have determined that it would be ungentlemanly to prosecute their fallen rivals, should they win.

So he'll be pushing 10 Downing to pursue dropping the pound for the euro and rejoin the EU? Good for him, I'm glad he's taking a stand to...hold on, I'm just now reading the article.
Oh, nevermind. He's just saying that rolling over and letting Trump scratch his tummy was a good idea.

Is that where you take a stately, turn-of-the-century brownstone, chop all the historic significance out of it, and cram three separate living units into the gutted husk?

“I wonder how much the owner will be skimming from the tips,” is my thought. Because if the owner was a good person, they’d be paying a living wage and proper benefits, and by tipping we’ve already agreed that is not the case for this restaurant(/chain/corporation).

Let's hope that remote (and high rate) charging costs come down. If not on parity with home charging, to at most a modest 10-15% premium over residential delivery rates.

They also wrote the emoluments clause at a time when “wealth sufficient to sway governments” was exclusively in the hands of royalty and heads of state. Our modern titans of industry are now wealthier - and more financially influential - than any king.
