The tor-till-la must be made of cabbage leaves, stuffed with mashed potatoes, boiled unseasoned beef, and a salsa of steamed red tomatoes, pickled white onions, one twist of black pepper, and assembled in a room where someone whispered “cilantro” a decade ago. It is considered dangerously spicy.

the only real discrimination period, for these folks, is against hard-right conservative christians, whose religious beliefs give them a kind of super-citizenship that allows them to either discriminate, opt out of common obligations or dictate to others

One time in Bible college I took a philosophy course where we were supposed to write an essay on a rational belief in God based on any of the philosophical arguments we’d read that semester and the Bible was disallowed as a source and half of the class cited the Bible. This feels like that.

People keep saying they want Democrats to "fight" and "play hardball". Aggressively prosecuting this as quickly as possible and giving Musk the maximum 3.5 year prison term is exactly what hardball would look like. National Democrats should be demanding an investigation from WI's DoJ
