Yup, got his current one for £40 on FB, but then it turns out parts are near- impossible to get hold of due to there being about three different 24" wheel sizes!

It seems there are 3 options for a 9yo. >26" wheel road bikes (poor tyre availability) >The v. expensive Hup Evo >Some XS road bikes. Leaning towards the latter right now, esp as with disc brakes can look at a 650b wheelset....

Yeah, I'm sitting pretty upright. Ordered something boring, slow-looking and padded!

It's at least something that'll still be there of the rest of the airport goes. Personally I'm just amazed they managed to get more than 3MW of capacity onto the grid .

As an occasional rider of terrible folding bikes (I had an Ikea one as well), my recommendation is to replace the suspension with wood and stick it in the boot of the car for when your destination is a short ride away from free parking.

Ah I might have to buy a water pistol.

Both of those cost more than I was hoping to spend on a whole folding bike :) Have put a Selle Italia from a racing bike that I had in the spare parts box, I think that'll do for now, but will maybe look at another ISM saddle as I have three of those now I think

The other trick, is of course, having somehow gained enough knowledge over the course of your life to rehab abdominal injuries yourself with little to no NHS support.

It's such an alien thought I can't even write it correctly myself hahhaha

I think he meant the bit in Powys west of Llanidloes? We regularly talk about north east Wales (Wrexham) and the south east of Wales (Newport), so "east" shouldn't be weird, and yet...

It's real. It's a 3 speed and everything works. This must be what winning the lottery feels like.

An actual brompton? Not like, a "all vacuum cleaners are hoovers" kind of thing. Yes. An actual Brompton. Has my mum mentioned that her son that could use a folding bike is 37 and in full time employment? Not going to ask!

Ah, now you've done it

May as well have made off colour jokes about sheep or the presence of vowels in Cymraeg, and called everyone "taffy". Just bottom of the barrel cringe.

Down to ~74.5kg, watts up another step so the current calculation is 3.84w/kg at threshold...

Almost had me there! Haha

Yup. As much as it's annoying to have people pop up and be the deputy head correcting ones jokes, it's better than people shouting that actually racism is good etc

This sounds exactly like how Wales, and the north Wales health board, ended up like it is...

If you can't measure your rides in bags of haribo, you're doing it wrong.
