I've been transitioning out of games after 20 years of it, and also maybe feeling something like this, so I find this line of thought super resonant. I want to engage, but I feel like I'm missing some context? (Unless this is meant to be a 1:1 interaction, in which case I'll butt out!)

I have wondered this for 20 years, and the reasons have evolved. First, I didn't have money. Then, I had money, but couldn't take off work. Then, I saved up enough to go on sabbatical, but had a baby at home. Life is always happening.
I'd *love* to be able to do a residency some day, though. ðŸ˜
